Hard At Work

I have been busy, busy of late trying to get all my projects organised and finished.

I have finally finished the corporate photo job I've been working on - The photo on the left is a small example of what I've been working on. The photo on the right is of me on site, up in the cage!

I've also been hard at work on the publicity for The Gawler Community Gallery - Getting the Facebook site up to date, working on a new emailed publication 'What's On At The Gallery', publicising the latest exhibitions, and organising the new up-coming exhibitions.

Coming Soon: 3 Generations Exhibition in March, and a couple styling shoots I've been working on organising.

Currently Exhibiting...

On the right, is a photo I took today of the exhibition by Peacock Lane Photography at The Gawler Community Gallery, exhibiting from the January the 19th till February the 26th. (The photo on the left is of some Lisianthus in a our garden)
I'm very excited about the current exhibitions - I've been helping the artists to organise, and it's wonderful to see their end results.
Other artists exhibiting include Bianca Ottawa, Yvonne Juanay, Kimberley Hargrave and Carol Clue.
To get a sneak preview of the work exhibiting, all you need to do is 'like' the galleries Facebook site (Come on, do it now - It will only take a second. Just click on the link and press 'like'. You know you wanna...)
I'm now updating the Facebook site and will try to post information and photos regularly

Abstract Nature Photography

The above are some more 'abstract' nature photos I took recently.
I reckon they'll look pretty awesome blown up and printed on canvas.

Here's to new beginnings!

The half-finished charcoal piece in the background will be one of many to be exhibited in March

This year, I'm not sharing my resolutions - Every time I share my goals, they never go to plan, and I ended up appearing as though I'm nothing but talk.
I don't want to be a talker - I want to be a do'er!

This year is going to be good year though. I can feel it.
I'm so excited - I have so many plans and so many projects in the mix...

Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements

Semrau Wedding - Getting Ready for the Big Day!

I was lucky enough to be a part of the most gorgeous wedding on the weekend - The joining in hand of Elise & Josh Semrau.

I got my camera out in the morning, and took a few shots while we were at the beauty salon, although, I think I was a little too distracted to be taking photos!
I'm so excited to see what the very talented photographer, Simmone Edwards, captured through out the day!

The brides dress was absolutely breath taking! (quite literally we discovered later in the day) and everything about the day was just so beautiful it was almost overwhelming!

During the reception they also had a wonderful 'photo booth' set up - Complete with costumes, props and white back drop, available for all wedding guests - Which I definitely used to it's full advantage! The newly married couple may get a little surprise when they see just how much!
Jasmine, fellow bridesmaid and now sister-in-law to Elise, and myself, managed to use every prop and accessory available for the photo booth set up! A big thanks to Simmone for putting up with us!

Also, I would like to say a big thank you to the beauty salon, for their beautiful work and for allowing us to take over the place the entire morning. And a big thank you to Amy at Style & Grace for her gorgeous styling and decorative work.

And of course, sending all my love to beautiful new couple and their lovely, lovely family - Big collective hug to you all!
(No need to mention the bridal party - It's quite obvious we're awesome)
